  • Attention Senior Parents
If you ordered graduation announcements please see an important message below from Jostens:

The Jostens Company now has your student’s graduation announcement order available.

A State mandate by the governor does not allow us to travel or take these boxes to the school as of today.

We know you are anxious to get your graduation announcement order and we have made 2 options available to you.

Option 1 – Direct ship home option for $10.00, you can call our office with a credit card payment at 717-249-8218. Once payment is processed, your order will ship directly home to the address on the order.

Option 2- Wait until school re-opens and we will deliver your order to the school for pick up.

Thank you in advance and congratulations to your Senior!

  • The Mckinney-Vento Homeless Act

The McKinney-Vento Homeless Act guarantees a free and appropriate public education for all homeless children and youth.  Federal and state laws make the school district’s responsibility clear.

    • A student whose family becomes homeless may remain in the school he/she was attending prior to becoming homeless for the duration of the school year.

    • If it is feasible, a student may transfer to a school if it is closer to his/her transitional housing.

    • The receiving school may not prevent or delay the enrollment of a homeless child by requiring proof of residency or lack of documentation such as immunization records.

    • Transportation for homeless must begin within 5 school days, but sooner if possible.
