Meet Madame

Kathleen Pennington
I began my teaching career in 1995, in the Lewisburg School District, where I taught French until 2005 at which time I resigned to be a stay-at-home mom.  During my resignation from Lewisburg, I relocated to Iowa, where I taught ESL as an adjunct instructor at Scott Community College.  I was also a student teaching supervisor for St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.  Upon returning to PA in 2008, I filled in a variety of positions within different school districts.
My career at Shikellamy began in 2013.  Currently, I am the French Club Advisor and advisor of La Société Honoraire de Français.  I have also taught ESL, Enrichment and am currently teaching two sections of Communication Arts.  I love teaching and watching the growth of the students from French I through all of the levels!

I have a son, a daughter and a Puggle named Buster.
